The Criminal Justice program will be offering advising seminars to assist majors with their registration efforts. These seminars will review the courses you need to take, explain your program evaluation, and describe CJA courses available in the upcoming semester. The idea is to offer effective advising to all students so that everyone can register for classes they need and graduate on schedule.
We recognize that many students have the ability to select the proper classes necessary to stay on track to graduate. The seminars will allow those students who come prepared with the proper materials, to speak to a faculty member and be unflagged to register, streamlining the advising process. Students in need of extra assistance will be identified and provided with extra support.
The advising seminar is MANDATORY for all CJA majors. You will NOT be unflagged or able to register unless you speak with your advisor or a faculty member during a seminar. If you need additional assistance after you have attended one of the seminars; please meet with your advisor or the program director. Office hours for all CJA faculty are posted on the CJA website (Faculty and Staff) and on their office doors in Pinecrest Manor.
